Brown wraps around my soul
holding all that is me
within love's embrace
keeps me warm
shelters me from harm
and adorns my face

Brown nourishes the land
stands tall in trees
and with the help of the wind
takes flight in leaves

On balmy days
Brown channels sunrays
to fuel the intensity
of my inner light
After hours, brown is still
my source of power
As I blend into the night
